چکیده
The photo-catalytic degradation of a textile azo-dye as Methyl Orange was studied in an innovative unit constituted by channel over which layer titanium dioxide (TiO2) catalyst anatase form deposited and activated UVB irradiation. kinetics were followed after variation the chemical, physical, hydraulic/hydrodynamic parameters system. For this purpose, influence TiO2 dosage (g/cm3), dye concentration (mg/L), pH solution, flow-rate (L/s), hydraulic load (cm), irradiation power (W) evaluated on rates. It observed that maximum 0.79 g/cm3 while for higher reduction homogeneity cement conglomerate occurred. Langmuir–Hinshelwood (LH) kinetic model up to around 1 mg/L. with increase flow rate, obtained, further associated modification determined decrease results also evidenced rates intensity. A final comparison other dyes such Red Methylene Blue carried out consideration sensibly affected removal efficiencies.
